Couples Coaching
Building Stronger Connections,
Mindfully Shaping Your Relationship
In a partnership, two individual worlds, needs, and communication styles come together. This can be nourishing and inspiring — but also challenging.
As a coach, I offer you a safe space where you can meet each other as a couple, question entrenched patterns, and explore new paths together.
In couples coaching, the goal is to consciously shape your relationship: engaging in dialogue, truly listening to each other, gaining clarity about your needs, and developing new understanding — especially when differences or tensions arise.
Typical topics in couples coaching may include:
-
Communication that misses the mark
-
The desire for more closeness, connection, and intimacy
-
Different values, needs, or visions for the future
-
Trust issues, jealousy, or past wounds
-
Transitions like parenthood, life changes, or reorientation
-
Daily or family role distribution
-
Conflicts in intercultural or binational relationships
-
Challenges in expat life: long-distance relationships, homesickness, pressure to adapt, or differing integration experiences
Especially abroad, many couples face new dynamics: changing roles, language barriers, social isolation, or the question of where “home” really is. As a coach with personal expat experience in Japan, I support you with intercultural sensitivity and space for your unique situation.
I work clearly, empathically, and resource-oriented — online, in German or English. The focus is not on the problems, but on your connection, your growth, and what can (again) become possible between you.
